Built in 1877 Ethnographic House Kalugertsi is located near the Madara Horseman in exvillage Kalugeritsa, now quarter of Kaspichan city Shumen municipality, 4 km away  from the monument Madara Horseman, 8 km away from the old capital Pliska, 60 km away from Varna and 20 km away from Shumen.

We possess the only private ethnographic collection registered in the Regional Historical Museum SHUMEN based on the Law on Monuments and Museums and Regulations for reporting and conservation of movable monuments of culture, certificate No 2/31.07.07

Our guests enjoy the program of the Ensemble for authentic folklore with folk center „Kamenen stalb" /stone pillar/ -1888 Kyulevcha v., awarded with the medal of the 10th National Festival in Koprivshtitsa, diplomas and more than 90 awards in TV broadcasts on Skat TV and Folklore TV. The Ensemble consists of 14 women singing a cappella. They search out and store songs, legends, rituals and traditions characteristic for Sartovsky region. The program includes presentation of Ritual - Handing chatrak /crossroads/ after dreaming of a nightmare. Ritual Bread – Lamb is divided in four pieces and served on four people, who perform various agricultural activities. This assumes that bad dreams are scattered in four sides. During the performance of the ritual special songs are sung.

Our guests taste coffee made on sand, rotating coffee and homemade pastry.
We offer lunch, including dishes and drink typical of our region.
