The extraordinary multicoloured building of the “Colourful Mansion” in Ahtopol has managed to become a real fashion attraction in the few months since it was built. Many Bulgarians stop to take pictures of it as they follow the road on the Black Sea Southern Coast towards the frontier (Bourgas-Sozopol-Ahtopol-Sinemorets-Rezovo). It s quite usual to see cars with different registrations (Sofia, Vidin, Rousse, Iambol, Plovdiv etc.) parked across the street from the mansion, causing traffic jams while the passengers decide which is the best angle for a photograph. And they are perfectly right because the options are numerous!
Our suggestion is: Be inquisitive! Don t just take a photograph and pass by without solving the question: What is it like to live in the “Colourful Mansion”? The answer is simple and you won t be sorry! This beautiful motley building is a family hotel in the smallest Bulgarian Black Sea town. A loving couple built it and they did their best to fulfil all their colourful dreams in these coloured walls.
